Mitchell Hood

Mitchell joined the financial services industry in 2000, working with his family business. He subsequently worked with other small boutique financial services businesses and had four years with a corporate ASX listed company which provided tremendous insights into business strategy – how to create it, how to implement it. This coal-face experience with large and small businesses has proven instrumental in Mitchell’s approach to advising in both sectors. His extensive knowledge of the industry provided the opportunity to collaborate with other like-minded professionals to establish Hood Advisory Pty Ltd in 2013. His real skill in providing strategic advice to his clients and coaching them to achieve their financial, business and lifestyle goals has been a key feature of Mitchell’s client focus. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is an accredited adviser for Margin Lending. Mitchell is a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA).
